The project consists in the reform and improvement of distribution and energy efficiency of premises located on the ground floor and first floor on St. Street. Oleguer. Consists of the adequacy of the space to respond to the functional program defined by the future user entities. These are the Intercultural Association Women Dialogues, the Association of Moroccan Women and the Association of neighbors Illa Robador. The main objective is to generate different spaces for meeting, meeting and for the realization of workshops and activities open to the public.
The main access is through the St. Oleguer at the closest opening to the Marqués de Barberà street. From this point you can access the double height distributor space that communicates with the first floor of the equipment.
On the ground floor, the spaces are distributed through a later corridor to absorb the irregularities of the plant itself. This way more useful spaces are achieved where the polyvalent rooms open on the facade are placed.
On the first floor the distribution is made with a corridor that runs along the length of the floor and through which access to the various classrooms with facade on the inner courtyard of the island.
There are rest and meeting spaces where different users can share their experiences outside of the spaces of activities. These community spaces are located in intermediate places in the corridors of the two floors to break a continuous and long pace. The pavement is continuous but with a change of color to provide more warmth to the space. A wood bank is projected, resizable and recessed to take advantage of the retreats of the walls.
Due to the variability of the uses and needs of the various spaces, the classrooms are conceived with the possibility of being used as a multipurpose single area and as independent rooms. Solution used both on the ground floor in the two classrooms of activities as the first floor in the classroom of activities and the kitchen-office with a possible classroom of support.
